Thursday Lingering Look at Windows: Week 1

Welcome to our first week of Thursday Lingering Look at Windows. My heartfelt thanks once again to Sandra Connor who allowed me take up this challenge where she left off.

I recently spent a few days in Washington DC. It’s only an hour from me and one of my favorite destinations. The hotel I stayed in (with the help of Groupon) was pretty nice. The lobby and the first 6 floors above that were devoted to the hotel but the next 10 floors were for office space.

Since the WiFi was only free in the lobby I was there in the morning when the earliest of office workers started to appear. The elevator is a glass enclosed model that allowed riders to spy on people in the lobby while they gawked at you for as long as their eye could see. In the predawn light I found watching (and photographing) those early arrivals to be a wonderful opportunity to share on Thursday Lingering Look at Windows.

    Many devotees of Sandras ‘Thursdays Windows’ will be sure to hop on board, along with new Window lovers and come up with plenty more to enjoy ! There is such alot of scope in this challenge for variety.
