Welcome to Thursday Lingering Look at Windows. For instructions on how to participate see our title page.
I’m excited to be going into our second week. Thanks to all who participated last week. I hope you will continue to join us when you can.
I was going to reblog some of my favorites from last week but they were all so good I couldn’t decide so if you haven’t seen them before be sure and check out participants from week one.
My contribution is a continuation from my New Years trip to Washington DC. I stopped in Union Station just for the photographic opportunities I thought it might offer. As far as windows are concerned, I wasn’t disappointed.

I was a little dismayed by all the netting but (and I am only guessing) it’s there to keep the birds at bay.

I understand, we have that in Vienna as well^^
But the window with the watch… it’s great!

DC is less than an hour away from. My parents home is two hours away and that’s usually as far as I get. I don’t think you have to go too far to find beautiful, interesting, photogenic windows.

Thanks Cee. I should probably let the proprietor know I am using her art work to promote my own 🙂

Oh, my, Dawn. These are gorgeous! You could have spent a week at Union Station alone just for the photo possibilities.

Be careful, it’s addicting. You’ll find yourself checking out windows like a construction worker watching the girls on the street.

I say that a lot too and it’s part of it; and aren’t we ever so humble but truth is you have to recognize the shot, execute it, edit it and present it. We give ourselves far too little credit.

How beautiful and how nice to see the windows,. doors and buildings they are attached to first hand. Why has one door a sign that says ‘chipotle’?
