Weekly Photo Challenge: Lost in the Details inside the US Capitol

For this week’s WP Photo Challenge, Lost in the Details I chose pictures of the rotunda inside the United States Capitol. The Capitol is riddled with details honoring, art, science, humanity, and history. One of my favorite’s though is the mural at the very top circling the inside of rotunda. These pictures depict many of the historical achievements and significant events in the early years of our country; The Revolutionary War, The Gold Rush, and The Flight by the Wright Brothers, are but a few.
