I had been planning a post on the color brown when Cee announced an upcoming challenge a few weeks ago to choose one single color and highlight it. I am always hearing and reading people say that winter is so ugly with everything brown and hibernating. It’s true it can’t really compete with a green meadow in the spring or the vibrancy of the yellow sunflowers in the summer but beginning in November when the sun hangs low in the sky until the first crocuses force their way through the dead grass of winter brown, if looked at in the right light and with appreciative eyes, brown can be very beautiful. I hope I prove that here.
Winter can be so beautiful 🙂 xx

There’s nothing brown out there now! We just got 5 inches of snow overnight and it’s still coming down!

You won’t find an argument here. I was going to do brown tonight. So I hear you. Your photos are beautiful. The cold, though, I can do without! 😉
Now off to find another color…

Awww…you can still do brown, I am sure your pics would be different. I thought most people would pick blue.

Wow! I love your brown colors; I used to think brown was a plain color and it wasn’t one of my favorites! But now you’ve made it beautiful; I especially like the barn with the field all bathed in the sun. They’re beautiful!
