My day begins as always beating my friends at word. 😉 Okay, yes sometimes I lose but I don’t count those.
Next a little breakfast. Hmmmm Eggos. I wouldn’t eat them without the sausage though. I like to read while eating my meals since I so often eat alone. This is the latest issue of Preservation magazine from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. I love learning about the architecture.
Last load of laundry, time to jump in the shower and start the errands.
This picture sold at the gallery showing I had and I needed to deliver it.
The arm on my screen door broke after a serious wind got hold of it. It will have to be replaced before I lose my door!
First stop, Lowe’s where a very nice fella helped me out. I was out of there in 10 minutes and only $10.00 poorer.
I had to run into Costco real quick to pick up the photo book I produced.
My book contains pictures of the beautiful county I live in. I hope to offer it at the local museum when it opens in May.
Next stop Bed and Bath. I bought a bamboo cutting board and it seems it must be treated with oil (how annoying!)
A quick run into the AVON store for some eyeliner.
Next I need a manicure and as busy as this days seems its the only time I have to get one.
Now to break out some wine. I’ve not had this wine before except at a tasting. It’s a sweet red wine from my favorite local vineyard Shenandoah Vineyards called Rebel Red; the rebel meaning it’s best served chilled unlike most red wines. I didn’t get an Easter dinner because I was working so I am gently frying some ham to have this evening. I enjoy something sweet with pork so this seemed to be a good accompaniment.
And now for my meal and the other half of the glass of wine…
I decide to try and shoot the sunset but it clouded up and was disappointing.
So its back home to a sink full of dishes!
I got my cutting boards oiled and, wow that does make a difference.
And now to enjoy the rest of the evening. Its blog time!
This post was brought to you by this week’s WP Photo Challenge.
Curious beginning of the day… What’s the orange meal that looks like potatoes? It seems to be delicious! Kind regards, Àngel
