Thursday Lingering Look at Windows: Week 23 Winery Windows ~ Rappahannock Cellars

I’m excited to be going into our twenty-third week. Thanks to all who participated last week. I hope you will continue to join us when you can.

This week we go back to the wineries with some shots I took a few months ago. My normal days off are Mondays and Tuesdays (I know, bleh!) but sometimes it works out. My dear friend Sally has a son who is a park ranger and this summer he is stationed on Skyline Drive. Sally was visiting her son a few months ago helping him to get settled into his new quarters.

On Monday she was headed home but not before stopping at her favorite winery where she is a member, which also happens to be in my neck of the woods (sort of). Now of course normally Sally would visit her favorite winery when she is in the area for the weekend (when I am either sleeping or working) but this was a bonus day. She sent me a text Sunday night and asked if I could meet her there on Monday.
Perfect!

It was a rainy Monday and I was feeling a little blah but Sally cheered me up showing me that the bright side of a rainy Monday was enjoying a glass of wine with an old friend. I love that woman!

And now for our windows, which by the way you are only allowed access to if you are a member, or have a really good friend who is. 🙂
