Weekly Photo Challenge: An Unusual POV

It’s hard to say what is an unusual point of view for a photographer. Most of us are always looking at things from angles not normally used by the average person. We see things differently.

It’s not the camera or the editing software (though they surely help!). It’s the way we see things, that make us photographers. Just like it’s the way artists; painters, sculptors, and the like see things that make them artists. It’s not a paintbrush that does that.

The way writer’s interpret things, the way engineers devise things, the way plumbers, electricians, and even politicians view things; that’s make them who and what they are.

It’s actually not unusual at all.

I am editing pictures from my trip to James Madison University this week for my Lingering Look at Architecture challenge. Look for them EVERYWHERE! 😉

  2. I remember when I wondered what POV meant.. I love your POV shots and I find that I enjoy my photo experiences where I’m always looking for a POV shot even when I’m taking pictures of something specific. Thanks for sharing your POV shots, it has helped me capture some of my best and favorite shots of my own.
