I’m happy to see this challenge because for some time now I have been collecting pictures of the insides of the town in which I live; Strasburg Virginia. I have several (but want more!). This specific collection is from a trip a few years ago to the Strasburg Museum. I was there with my friend Rick to see our mutual local artist friend Diane Artz Furlong’s paintings that were on display.
Please enjoy this Inside View of the Strasburg Museum.

Interesting inside pics, Dawn. That hairdressing contraption reminds me of when my mom went to have her hair permed when I was very small. It looks like something from a torture chamber. 🙂

And I thought it was SO interesting that they included it in the history of our little town. But just like the scene from Steel Magnolias the hair dressing salon contains the history of many a small town!

Nice tour around Strasburg Museum, especially the rows of pots with the words Lingering Visions neatly printed on the wall above them.

Yeah..I’m trying to get them to paint that there permanently 😉

Looks dark and warm. I like that.

You know, small town, old train depot converted to a museum. It’s but one of the town icons that is our pride and joy.

Good for you, having lots of inside pictures to share. I’ve seen the Strasburg sign–on I-81 maybe? Or somewhere thereabouts in our travels.

Yup, that’s us. The corner of 81 and 66. 😉
