I’m excited to be going into our thirty-sixth-ninth. Thanks to all who participated last week. I hope you will continue to join us when you can.
This week I want to highlight a place I have come to love since they opened the last weekend in August. Winding Road Cellars I believe is the newest winery to open in Virginia, although its hard to be sure because a new one opens all the time. Virginia is quickly becoming a force in the wine industry. But for me, although its important for the wine to be good and reasonably priced, the atmosphere that the owners endorse is important too. Winding Road Cellars are family run, which I love, and genuinely nice people. You can read more about this new winery here: https://lingeringvisions.wordpress.com/2013/10/04/lingering-look-at-architecture-winding-road-cellars/
But for this post, we are just looking at the windows.
Like these windows, Dawn, it looks a great environment to be wine tasting. I’m just off to find a couple of window shots!

Lovely windows, Dawn. You’re leading me to alcoholic tendencies! (kicking and screaming all the way 🙂 )

Yes, isn’t that beautiful. This tasting room was built by the owner and an Amish gentleman he recruited. You can see it in the details.

I’m just going to have to look this week I think, as I cannot upload photos at the moment 😦
I’ll keep trying though to see if the connection improves… I like the sash windows!

Damn those bad connections!
BUT it does leave more time for photography 🙂
