Share Your World: Week 38

What were you most likely doing on this day when you were 12 years old?

When I was 12 my life was pretty screwy. I don’t remember a lot about it but what I do remember I would rather forget. Let’s just leave it at that.

If you could write about, paint a picture or photograph any scenery you’ve seen before, what scene would you use?
Oh many landscapes. I would love to go back to Lancaster County in Pennsylvania and photograph and write about the covered bridges there. My last trip didn’t turn out too well. A do over would be wonderful!

What is one of your favorite quotes?
My favorite quote is from Winston Churchill. I think it’s an important quote and one I wish I had known before I turned 50.

What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

I’m not an animal person but I love the loyalty of a retriever, the cuddliness of a shih tzu, and the protection from a german shepherd.

  1. Some things are better left in the past. Covered bridges tell of a different lifetime, don’t they? We saw one near our hometown not too long ago–sitting in a parking lot! They moved it and were restoring it.
