Growing up my grandmother always had a poinsettia on her table at Christmas time. It left such an impression on me that ever since I have had my own home I always have one too.

They are gorgeous, but, as much as I’m pretty good with greenery, I have noI luck with these. Maybe cause they’re red and not green! 😀

I love seeing the poinsettia when they arrive in the stores. Alas, we don’t have any at home, as they are poisonous to pets (and cats are notorious for chewing on plants). Thank you for the image of holiday cheer!

Yes, you have to be careful with that. There are no pets here but I am very aware of the danger.
