A Lingering Look at Windows: Week #16

Welcome to the 2014 edition of Window Views. For instructions on how to participate visit our title page

Thanks to all who participated last week and welcome to those who join us now.

A few weeks ago I went with my friends on an all day all girl excursion. When I say all day, I really mean all day. We left at 9:00 am and due to a little too much conversation and a little too little navigation we returned home at 10 pm. Needless to say I was exhausted; but I got some great window shots while I was out. The first of which I highlighted last week here.

The second stop on our destination was Blenheim Vineyards; designed by rocker Dave Matthews and master craftsman William Johnson, Blenheim is but one of the many vineyards, cashing in on the Jeffersonian/Virginia wine trend that is gripping the region and working to emulate its way throughout the state; rather successfully too, I might add if this Washington Post Magazine Virginia Wine article is to be taken seriously, which of course, we Washingtonians (and beyond) do.

This challenge is very laid back. Join us when you can. It runs Thursday thru Thursday; jump in any time. Tag your posts A Lingering Look at Windows and so we can catch you in our readers.
