Today begins a new topic: Abandoned Architecture. Since I started this challenge almost a year ago this has become a hot topic in this area. I have such a diverse audience here at WordPress that I hope people will participate and share photos of abandoned architecture from their travels, neighborhoods, or nearby.
Please feel free to enhance your photos with HDR, present them as is, or create a monotone effect with black and white, sepia, or perhaps something else.
This challenge runs May 1st through May 31st. You can find out more information by visiting the title page.
I begin this challenge with this picture that I find curious. It seems all that is left is two chimneys. If you can imagine the house in between I think it must have been quite warm.
For some reason I love looking at abandoned and broken-down buildings out in “the wild”. This is a great picture!
