This week’s story is the final in a trilogy. It’s not necessary to read the other two stories for this one to make sense but if interested you can find the first story Bloodlines here. Charles’s point of view can be read here.

And now Christine’s:

Christine was heartbroken. The man she thought she would marry had just ended their relationship. Charles was everything she desired in a husband but she understood why he broke it off. He gave her some excuse about being confused and needing time to think but that was only a coward’s way out. She knew that her lineage was the reason.

She cried into her pillow for two days and then she cleared her head and developed a new plan. The 30-year-old Charles was too young for her 24 years. A man of forty or fifty would appreciate her more.

  1. Interesting. Went back and read the other two stories.

“The 30-year-old Charles was too young for her 24 years. A man of forty or fifty would appreciate her more.” This really got me thinking…. Continue the storyline, please.
