Share Your World Week: Week 39

Did you ever get lost?
OMG…did I ever! My father used to say I could get lost in a phone booth. Now that there are no phone booths I don’t know what exasperated fathers say to their directionally challenged offspring. If you know, please tell me. I would love to know.

Who was your best friend in elementary school?
I moved around a lot in school. I had a friend named Elaine but she got mad at me for something, I do not remember what it was now. I also had another friend named Priscilla. She played guitar and we were going to write songs together (I wrote poetry). We never did. I don’t know what happened. I probably moved. 😦

Since the news television season has started in the US, list three favorite TV shows.
I cut my cable off in January and have barely watched any television since. I miss it but I like having the $80.00 per month that previously was going to the cable company.

If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?
It is evening here now and this is what I am doing; preparing my blog posts for the week.
If I saw a mouse or a mouse saw me he would be looking up at me standing on top of a chair screaming just like they did in the old Tom and Jerry cartoons. I am scared to death of mice!

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m glad to have had a successful and safe trip to Roanoke Virginia, last week. Glad to have some time to catch up on errands, housework, and bill paying this week. Next week I am off to Annapolis, Maryland for the Renaissance Festival!

  1. I just read on another blog that old English phone booths are being painted green and have solar panels on top. They are being used for recharging mobile devices FOR FREE. You just need to watch a few ads while your waiting for the recharge. Pretty cool. Anyway, you’re still writing so that’s a great thing. 😉

  2. Phone booths! I’d nearly forgotten about them. What a lovely overlook of the city. I know what you mean, rather have the $$ in your own pocket!
