I was in a terrible mood on Monday and sometimes the only way to get out of one of my moods is to go take some pictures. When I left the house it was 75 degrees and the sky was blue.

I ran some errands then took a ride to Luray Virginia and got on Skyline Drive there. Almost immediately the weather changed. The nice breeze in town turned to a chilly wind once I reached a higher elevation.
By the time I got back home the sky had turned violet and the temperature had dropped 20 degrees.
I made it inside and had dinner before the rain came. We need the rain, the river looks terrible!

Your bad mood resulted in some great photos, Dawn. 🙂 Yes, that river does look very low on water.

After I prepared the post i realized this challenge is called A photo a week. I hope you don’t mind my “artistic” interpretation (using more than one photo) 😉

Even though I usually only post one photo for the challenge, I have done more than one before and don’t penalize anyone for ousting more than one. 😀

My son was always irritable when the weather changed – especially when snow was on it’s way. Great photos. 😀
