One of the reasons I wanted to visit Gettysburg was to try and capture a sunrise like the pictures I see at Gettysburg Expressions and Gettysburg Moments but after a few tries I realized (or remembered) that most of these shots are planned and few are about luck.
Still I was able to catch the light through the leaves at this memorial (which I believe is for New York).
The Day After 
It is a beautiful shot Dawn. I have never stopped at the battlefield. It seems Gettysburg is a place I go through only when I have a deadline to be somewhere else.
