My 22-year-old son lives with me. I admit he is the monster I have created. I have asked him to do very few chores over the years so he is just now starting to step up; well sort of.
He works out at the gym 5 days a week and tries to eat healthy. Lately he cooks his own low-fat, high protein food on Sundays for the rest of the week. Them he washes up the dishes. He usually does a better job than this and admittedly this is my crock pot (that I made him chili in but I am not splitting hairs). However I am not quite sure why he left the rest of these dishes.
I have one of those at home too – I like to call this type of behaviour “selective dishwashing”… thanks for your entry!

Definitely! I have 2 lads of 28 & 18, both into the health kick, and selective cleaning! It always amazes me that they don’t notice things in the house that stare me right in the face! LOL 😀

YES! Ypu DO get it! Amazing. Laying right there on the floor where they dropped it until I pick it up and then it magically disappears!
And I never say a word….

His older siblings were doing dishes before they could reach the sink. They say he is spoiled. lol

Men, well some, may find pots daunting and leaves you the heavier washing. Lol
