Where did you live at age five? Is it the same place or town you live now?
I lived in Hyattsville Maryland, just over the DC line when I was five. Today (50 years later) I live a hundred miles away in Virgina near Skyline Drive and the Shenandoah Valley.
You are invited to a party that will be attended by many fascinating people you never met. Would you attend this party if you were to go by yourself?
Guaranteed fascinating people?…yes! although I may not be comfortable it is only one night, and I will meet some fascinating people.
Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
If I had never moved where I live now I would have said I grew up in a small town. It was a small town back then. Or so I thought before I moved here.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be then what I want to be now; a writer.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am extremely grateful that the weather held out and the stars aligned so that my friend and I could visit DC. We knocked one thing off my list. Multiverse, check!
Next week: Lunch with a friend and check out some local coffee and tea shops; the perfect winter activity!
