A Lingering Look at Windows ~ A Day Trip to Culpeper

The windows challenge has now gone monthly but I invite everyone to post when and as many times as you would like. I probably will post some months more than once. But always the first Thursday of the month.

For information about this challenge please see the 2015 Lingering Windows Title Page.

This month I am sharing pictures from a little trip I made to Culpeper Virginia with my friend Linda.

First we met at Gray Ghost Winery in Amissville Virginia. We both really liked this winery and plan to go back in June to celebrate our shared birthday month.

The outdoors looked inviting except for the lack of sunshine so we had our wine and cheese indoors.

Next we headed to Culpeper. First stop, shopping at The Cameleer , a great little shop that boasts of international gift-ware and Aboriginal Arts and Crafts.

I could tell by the window I was going to like this place.

Great views on both sides of the window.

It was time for an early dinner so we skipped across the street to The Copper Fish.

We arrived just in time for Happy Hour.

We left the restaurant well sated but with a craving for something sweet and found to my delight we were parked in front of The Frenchman’s Corner.
.

I bought two pieces of this wonderful chocolate to devour later at my leisure.

A sweet ending to a lovely day.

  1. The Cameleer does look cool. Sounds like a fun time. But…did you really skip? Lucky you if you did. I’d be on my face in the street!
Great shots through the doors, Dawn.
