Cee is hosting an interesting challenge this week where we decide the topic based on her photograph and the suggestions it inspires. One of the topics was Windows and I almost chose that but I did that last week with my Pink Windows, so I am trying to not be monotonous.
I went to New York City last Saturday for a one day bus trip and visited The Statue of Liberty. As a photographer I was disappointed in the day. It was gray and misty. It’s not what I would have chosen but I didn’t have a choice.

You got some great photos for this week’s challenge. Thanks Dawn.

I would have preferred a blue sky for the background but….

Very nice photos Dawn. I particularly like the close up of Lady Liberty.

I can imagine! I would feel completely lost there.

My BFF LOVES NYC. I think she was disappointed that I didn’t love it just as much.
I’m a country gal you know 😉

If I had gone when the weather looked the way it did when you went, I wouldn’t like it either.

I still liked it. We had a good time but I love to take pictures so that was a bit of a bummer for me.
