And now my 100 word story:
I turned 15 October 15th, and if that wasn’t special enough it snowed on my birthday. We don’t usually get any snow here in Pennsylvania until at least November.
Mom rented the pavilion at the park. She had an ice cream vendor and even a magician. She was so upset when it snowed and most of the people didn’t come. I wasn’t. Tiffany came and Robert didn’t.
I made her laugh. I knew I could without Robert to steal the show. Before she left I kissed her goodbye.
By the time we got everything cleaned up she had already posted to facebook. “In a relationship”.
Best birthday ever!
Lovely story: well done.

Setting Mom up with Tiffany? What a great daughter! I’m glad the snow kept this pesky Robert away. The few clues here about his character make me pretty sure I wouldn’t like him. Good, layered story, Dawn.
All my best,

My nephew’s birthday is on October and one year it snowed on his birthday. IDK that he got the girl but if he didn’t, he will, he’s a cutie ❤

Adorable! Best Birthday ever, indeed. I love how you turned around a somewhat bleak opening and even spun some of the strange weather we’ve been having lately. Really well written.
