This is the dome of the Pennsylvania State Capitol. It is obviously a man-made structure but the details are what set it apart. The roof is made of green glazed terra-cotta tile, an unusual finish for a state capitol. You can learn more about this structure by clicking here.

I was glad to be able to share this. I love the uniqueness of it. Unfortunately I wasn’t feeling as well as I would have liked and my exploring was cut short.
