I live in the state of Virginia in the United States of America. We may not have a lot of ancient history like perhaps Europe or Asia but for a country that is less than 250 years old we have our share of American History.
Virginia is home to eight of our country’s presidents (so far). I have visited a few of them.
Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson.
Home of James Madison, Montpelier
George Washington’s Mt. Vernon
All so different in style, but each one is lovely. 🙂

I admire the workmanship it take to make them so grand.

Amazing houses. Where i am now living most of the houses were built around the 1920’s and of course the Art Deco period. I must make sure I take some more photos.

You have an amazing amount of historic buildings compared to here! I would love to visit all those homes. They are each so beautiful and so different from each other.

It’s a fun thing to do with my history loving friends. Thomas Jefferson’s is my favorite. I’ve been a few times and would like to go again!

My oldest saw Mt. Vernon and Monticello on his 8th grade trip to Virginia. I was so envious! I’ve never been in a house that old and Monticello looks like it would be really beautiful.

Honestly the outside is more beautiful than the inside. The inside is more interesting but the outside is more beautiful.
