Inspired my story:
Howard looked at his watch. 6:15. He was early. That was okay. He didn’t mind waiting. He thought of the many moments he had waited for Agnes and smiled. “Now” he thought, “she was waiting for him”. He shook it off. It was probably better not to think of your dead wife while waiting to meet your first blind date.
“Blind date?” he thought. “What am I doing? I’m 75 years old. I’m too old to date!” And then he saw her walking toward him. He stood and greeted her with a smile. She smiled back and his heart leaped, just as it had done when he was young.
You’re never too old 🙂

I love that I’m not the only one who had that thought of meeting a blind date on the bench. There was just something about that anonymous space, I guess. This is a great image of living no matter our age. Nice story!
