Abstract of My Own Creation

I am never exactly sure what is abstract. I mean I know it when I see it if it is created by someone else, but created by me, well, I am just not ever sure.

I bought some cut flowers a few weeks ago for my home. It was just a spur of the moment treat. I love cut flowers and I felt I needed them (you know to get through February and all).

As they began to die it snowed and it gave me an idea. I put the dying flowers in the snow and photographed them and then edited them a bit. I think what I have created could be categorized as an abstract photograph. What do you think?
