This has been a miserable July, with 21 days of 90+ temperatures. It rained for the fourth of July holiday but we got little relief until the end of the month when we finally saw some rain again. In my mind, that is typical weather for August. But maybe we will get lucky with that. We will see soon enough.
We were just discussing how August this July was. Frankly it is a little scary.

It really is. I can’t help but thinking how fortunate I am to have a job that allows me to afford AC in my home 24/7

Right? The woman who does my nails is from Viet Nam and she said to me “My goodness it is hot!” I said “but aren’t you used to the hot weather?” She said in Viet Nam it is hot but they have no AC. Here they have AC and it is nice inside so when you go out it is HOT!
Same for me…;)

It’s really hot here too, but we’ve had a few showers.

Weather is only a chaos theory anyway, so it’s difficult to predict.
