Music Monday: Because it is Still Christmas

I know this is the day after Christmas and many of you may be done with the whole thing but I was late to the party and I like to celebrate right up to New Years so I have one more of my favorite Christmas carols to share.

When I was a young child my parents bought a Christmas Album from the local tire company. This may all sound foreign to some of you but it was a real thing.

The Goodyear Sounds of Christmas Volume 7 for many years was my best-loved compilation of Christmas music. In my research for this post I learned it actually has some interesting history.

Do You Hear What I Hear by Diahann Carroll was my favorite. Perhaps it was the words or perhaps just because it was so short, perfect for a child to memorize.

Lots of other good songs on there too. Click.

I have created an album on my facebook page called Words to Sing By to accompany this weekly post. Check it out!
