It feels right to share the story of Leymah Gbowee a 2011 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, just a few short months after The Historic Women’s March on Washington.
You can read her story by clicking here or hear it in her own words by visiting here.
March is Women’s History Month here in the United States and as a woman and as an American I am happy to celebrate it.

Great quote. I have been thinking about footprints that last too. So much blogging and digital imaging is here today/gone tomorrow.

Gee I hope not. I had hoped my blog would be here for my kids. Perhaps that is too naive of me?

Thats another point of view. I guess I was thinking about things you hold in your hands, like a book or a drawing. I hadn’t thought about blogs existing for a really long time. I must sort the categories out on mine so people can find stuff. 🙂

My kids don’t want my things you hold in your hand stuff. They call it clutter 😦

Mine either..but maybe when I die…
I know I have so many questions for my parents now that they are gone.

I’m thinking my blog isn’t so much for my kids as it is for anyone who wants to read it. I like the idea that it continues on through time even when I’m long gone from this planet. I keep getting this nagging feeling that I must sort out the content and make it more accessible. I think I will make it my next big project.
