This brilliant flash mob took place in the Philippines. 1500 prisoners of the high-security prison performed an incredible dance in memory of the “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson. The rehearsals under the direction of Michael‘s choreographers lasted more than a year. Travis Payne, Daniel Celebre, and Dres Reid taught the prisoners how to dance, and the result is simply amazing! They made a wonderful “This Is It” performance that took everybody‘s breath away! The inmates merged with the melody and started moving like one single organism. Just look at those strict faces and sharp movements. When you look at the guys, it is hard to believe they are prisoners, not professional dancers.
I have created an album on my facebook page called Words to Sing By to accompany this weekly post. Check it out!
