Best of the Week: LOVE Found at Liberty Mills Farm

My friend Carole and I visited Liberty Mills Farm this week in Somerset Virginia. We met the owner/farmer and got to learn all about how he came to crafting his sign.

The L is created out of straw bales
The O is an enormous tire from a John Deere tractor (our farmer friend said to make note of the yellow that makes it stand out)
The V represents field corn and corn mazes and
The E is changes with the seasons. In the fall, the sign features pumpkins.
He said he had something else planned for Christmas.
We may have to go back!

I love autumn and every week I get so many beautiful shots it is hard to decide which to use for my Best Of. Click here to see the ones that didn’t make the cut: A Lingering Look at Autumn.
