Friday Fictioneers: Warning Fire

Jonathan found a parking spot close to where the firetrucks blocked road. He ran down the street and stopped in horror when he saw sprays of water aimed at his gallery. Bile rose in his throat as he thought of all that would be lost.

He found the captain “Do we know where it started?” The captain pointed in the direction of the hoses. “You’re looking at it. We got a call to get here in time to stop it from spreading but this place is a loss”.

Jonathan felt his phone vibrate and checked the message.
“Do you believe me now?”

Note: I’m a bit under the weather lately and not reading as many other stories as I would like too. I hope to be better as time goes on but it might not be this week either.
