Abandoned Shoes in Black and White

This is an old picture but there is a great story that goes with it and I don’t believe I have ever told it, at least not on here. It was an unseasonably warm November day in 2010 and my ex and I were making a quick visit to Ocean City Maryland. We were on the boardwalk when we came upon this pile of shoes. They seemed to be abandoned. By the time we could utter “What the…” a group of kids came running from the opposite side jumped over the shoes and into the sand. They were incredibly pleased with themselves and we were delighted.
