There is not a lot of color here yet on this first full day of autumn. The main activity as far as trees are concerned center around the many apple trees we have in our region. Virginia ranks 5th for apple production in the United States producing in the neighborhood of 195 million pounds per season.
I love autumn so I am hosting the 2018 Festival of Leaves Challenge I will post every Sunday and I invite everyone to join in any time through the week in any or all weeks. You can link to this post or to any weekly post. Be sure to tag your post Festival of Leaves so it is easy to find in the reader.
