You’re walking in a forest and you find a black suitcase. Inside it is one millions dollars and a piece of paper, stained in blood and bearing the single word “Don’t!” Would you take the suitcase home or leave it?
A million dollars? Yea, I would take it. I’m not sure where…but yes, I would take it!
Imagine you lapsed and cheated on your partner. You feel horrible and you know you’ll never do it again, because the feeling is so awful. Would you confess?
I don’t know because I would never do this. I dated guys I didn’t really like and didn’t cheat on them so I can not imagine cheating on someone I had pledged my love to.
I have been cheated on several times. I firmly believe that people have a cheat gene, it is in their DNA. It’s not in mine. I’m not bragging/ I’m just saying.
Would you live your life differently if nobody ever judged you for anything you did?
Another question I am not sure how to answer. I have a strong sense of right and wrong. One of my biggest problems with organized religion is it is used to make people act a certain way (to let’s say, for instance, get into heaven or go to hell) instead of just acting a certain way because it is the right way to act. But let’s face it, without religion, laws, and the peer pressure of the community, many folks would stray outside of the boundaries of human decency, enough of them do with those things in place.
Would a fly without wings be called a walk? No? What would you call it?
What brought gratitude, a smile or laughter to your life this week?
We had a snow day! Now don’t get me wrong, I really do not care for snow. It’s dangerous to navigate on foot and in a vehicle but my friend Carole invited me along for a photo drive on a snow day! We went to the covered bridge, visited the ducks at the mill, then had dinner at the newest Mexican restaurant in town. Lots of conversation, lots of laughs, and lots of pictures! Here is one of Carole’s vehicle on the road from inside the bridge.
