When my grandson visited me for spring break recently we enjoyed the gardens at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. It’s free on Wednesdays, so fits nicely in my budget and is less crowded than on weekends.
I often talk about art; photography, painting, sculpture, but a garden is living art, and changes with the season. I’m am in awe of the forethought and the vision required to create such harmony.
What a beautiful garden. You’re so right about a garden being living art.

It always amazes me when people are able to plant just the right things to bloom at just the right time, together. It’s a sophisticated kind of art.

I agree Dawn. I’ve often wondered about the visualization and creation of gardens like these. beautifully captured.
