I thought yesterday, September 22, was the first day of Autumn until I read Sunday Stills: Signs of Autumn. I did some more research and learned these cool facts.
So welcome to Autumn, everyone!
Many of you have been celebrating autumn since August, talking about your pumpkin spiced coffee and wearing your boots. I love autumn too, but I love it when it really is autumn! Oh and about those pumpkins…you can keep them! Around here, it’s the apples we love!
Beautiful Apple Photos!

Love me some apples, too, Dawn, although I enjoy a little pumpkin spice this time of year. We live 30 miles from Northern California’s Apple Hill a huge area where apples grow, berries, and other scrumptious things. Soon, the locals and tourists will flock to the area to enjoy it all. Happy first day of Autumn!

Thanks Terri. Apples are one of Virginia’s biggest crops.
