Festival of Leaves 2019 ~ Week #4 The Highest Point

We all know that autumn colors “fall down”, so I searched out our highest local elevation (reached by car) and found it on Skyline Drive at Skyland Resort where the elevation is 3,680 feet. Still the color was lacking. I was there on a Wednesday and the leaf peepers were already out in full force. Almost makes me glad to have to work the weekend

Y’all be safe!

I love autumn so I am hosting the 2019 Festival of Leaves Challenge I will post every Sunday and I invite everyone to join in any time through the week in any or all weeks. You can link to this post or to any weekly post. Be sure to tag your post Festival of Leaves so it is easy to find in the reader.
