Someone said that they thought the yellows were especially vibrant this year. I have to agree and when I caught sight of this view it literally took my breath away. Honestly the picture does not do it justice, that is how striking it was.
I love autumn so I am hosting the 2019 Festival of Leaves Challenge I will post every Sunday and I invite everyone to join in any time through the week in any or all weeks. You can link to this post or to any weekly post. Be sure to tag your post Festival of Leaves so it is easy to find in the reader.

Is that a rail bridge? I remember taking leaf photos near an abandoned rail bridge like that in New Hampshire. Now there’s a place that has lots of yellow (and red and orange). A lovely photo Dawn.

Thanks Jude. It is, and a tricky shot to get. The older I get the more fearful I am, this may be the last time I shoot this view.

So so pretty. I finally got a fair dose of fall photography in this week. Nothing major, but enough to help me exhale. Here’s my tiny offering for this week: https://iamchandralynn.com/2019/11/01/november/
