Friday Fictioneers: The Christmas You Got Me

I wrote two stories today. They are better together (I think) but you can read one without the other (I think). This is part two. Part one is here The Christmas I Got You

I finished telling the story and looked over at my husband who smiled at the memory. “Now you tell it, daddy!” the children begged.

I was just getting off work when I saw the most beautiful woman trying to juggle dozens of shopping bags. My heart beat a little faster just watching her and then she began to run, well as best as woman can run in high heeled boots carrying dozens of packages.

“Hold that bus!” I heard her holler. That’s when I knew just what to do to get her to marry me.

It was just that easy.
