Is ‘hello” enough for you these days?
Hello always feels like it should be followed by something, like “how are you?” Whereas, “Hey” or “Hi’ are more able to stand alone.

Do you believe in the adage, Murphy’s law; “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”?
I believe it is a cautionary proverb that reminds you to plan for every scenario.

Does evil come from within? If so, why?
I was going to omit this question. It was the “come from within” part that makes me bristle. What does that mean? I even tried to Google it, I got nothing. Do I believe evil exists? Yes.

Are intelligent people more or less happy than others? What defines intelligence?
Intelligence is defined as general cognitive problem-solving skills. A mental ability involved in reasoning, perceiving relationships and analogies, calculating, learning quickly… etc. I don’t think you can label intelligent people happier or less happy any more than you can any type of person. Is ignorance bliss? It’s the same as asking if rich people are happier, if artists or scientists are happier.

What brought gratitude, a smile or laughter to your life this week?
It’s been kind of a rough week.I started a new medication for my intestinal issues, and I am excited for the possibility of some relief, it snowed which had me house-bound because I am such a wimp about it anymore, and I lost a friend to suicide. I’m grateful for all the things I am normally grateful for, a home, a job, loving friends and family, but I am looking forward to putting this week behind me.
