This week’s questions are submitted by Roger Shipp in the spirit of Harry Potter (which I have never read or seen a movie of). I’ll do my best to answer.
You have just been gifted a magic wand that specializes in completing household chores. You can request the completion of only two household chores. Which chores would you assign your wand to complete?
This is actually a variation of my fantasy wish. I used to wish for a genie to grant me three wishes, then eventually it turned in to wishing for more wishes. These days I cut to the chase and wish for a magic wand. However, to be honest, I have never wished for said wand to complete household chores.
But I said I’d play along, so I will.
Wand…please dust from floor to ceiling and scour the nooks and crannies.
At the local Wizards-R-Us store there was a sale on handshake shockers, instant darkness pellets, and levitation pills. Which of these ‘party thrillers’ are you more likely to purchase?
Okay…so this is why I don’t normally play along…it all seems so silly. BUT…I said I would, so I will. I can remember being a kid and having dreams floating above the room. I loved those dreams so much I would always try to get back to them if I had been woke up. so…levitation pills……fun for me..maybe share them with friends…is that legal?
In the alley behind Wizards-R-Us, there was a tradesman selling a Love Potion. The sales pitch was too much for you and you yielded and purchased one vial. What do you do with it?
Use it on some poor sucker who is rich and generous beyond my dreams and never home.
You are the Great Clearinghouse Winner of a new ‘good luck’ potion – Felix Felicis. It has to be used within the next thirty days or its potency becomes diminished. Do you use it? Do you give it to a friend in need?
I totally use it and work my ass off helping not only myself but my siblings, friends, and of course my children.
What brought gratitude, a smile or laughter to your life this week?
I took some time out for me this week. In my world that means a day of photography. I visited one of my favorite places, Skyline Drive, looking for leaves to post for 2020’s first Festival of Leaves post which will go live on Tuesday, September 22, the first day of autumn.
