Are human beings required to better themselves and will doing that make them happier?
We are not required to do so but if we want to grow as people we should strive to be better version of ourselves everyday. I can’t imagine how miserable my life would be now if I was the same person I was 30 years ago.

Is it easier to love or to be loved?
I find it easier to love, but that is just me. I tend to try and push [people away who love me, whether it is because I am not trusting enough or don’t want to be a bother varies from person to person and time to time.

Outside traumatic brain injury, can memories be completely erased?
Oh yes. Time has a way of erasing and distorting memories.

Is there such a thing as a good death?
A good death for me would to go peacefully in my sleep the moment after I became incapable of caring for myself.

What brought gratitude, a smile or laughter to your life this week?
I took my grandson out for a 18th birthday dinner. He wanted Chinese. The food wasn’t very good but the company was awesome 🙂

  1. Thanks, Dawn, for Sharing Your World! It can be very encouraging to look back and realize how much we’ve gained over our lives in experience and progress! 🙂 I’m glad you are able to see that for yourself! 🙂 I agree fully with your peaceful death, that is the best way to leave. I’m sure others don’t find you a burden though. I’m also glad you got lunch with your grandson. Even if the food is so-so, having good company tends to minimize how ‘bad’ it might be. Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
