Taking Stock: Month August 2021

Making : Just at the very end of the season, I couldn’t resist and had to make an Upside Down Peach Cake.

Drinking : Not really. I could never afford this wine and I’m not sure I would never pay that kind of money, even if I had it but I do find the process intriguing.

Reading: A Promised Land by Barack Obama
Pieces of Her by Karin Slaughter

Playing: Words with Friends (Always)

Deciding: Risk factors and perception: The Mathematics

Enjoying: The words of my cousin as she shares her passion for writing.

Pondering: How important listening is. So important that people wait in line to talk to a stranger.

Considering: If I never was in love with George Clooney I am after watching this.

Watching: All 4 Seasons of Half and Half on Netflix…that was fun.
I got sucked into this cooking competition, out of Australia,  My Kitchen Rules,  and I can’t seem to get enough of it.

Cringing: Mosquitoes are attracted to certain DNA (mine!)

Questioning: Rumble..all I am going to say…read for yourself here.

Noticing: More reasons to stay positive and practice gratitude.

Hearing: Summerland by Elin Hildebrand <a href=”https://www.amazon.com/Sizzling-Sixteen-Janet-Evanovich-audiobook/dp/B003TLSLW6/ref=tmm_aud_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=&#8221; rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>Sizzling Sixteen by Janet Evanovich, Narrated by Lorelei King

Thanks to Taking Stock for the inspiration.
