Taking Stock: September 2021

Reading: Last of the Moon Girls by Barbara Davis
The Pearl That Broke Its Shell by Nadia Hashimi
After Alice Fell by Kim Taylor Blakemore
A Splendid Ruin by Megan Chance

Playing: Words with Friends (Always)

Deciding: People need to learn and be aware of their finances.

Wondering: I’ve never been told to go back and read the first paragraph of a book when finishing it. From this it seems like good advice.

Pondering: The intense work at Pfizer.

Considering: These tips for talking to teenagers.

Watching: My Kitchen Rules, a cooking show competition out of Australia. I’ve been binging this for two months now. I think I have a problem šŸ˜‰

Cringing: The writing of these Afghan writers and their truths.

Questioning: As an almost senior citizen; a junior senior, if you will, I understand about purging but these young people may be taking it too far.

Noticing: My heart breaks for nurses.

Sorting: In a recent discussion a fellow blogger commented on our “wet summer”. I thought it had been hot and dry but before I argued that I looked and found this interesting link. In a way, we were both right.

Thanks to Taking Stock for the inspiration.
