Up north as a kid we used to come across covered bridges. They don’t have them in the south, not as far as I have ever seen. Maybe in Tennessee or the woods of Georgia.
We don’t have a lot, I suppose, in the whole country. Most that are left are just for posterity. Steel bridges is a much more sensible way to go in this day and age.

I don’t know. I’ve never been to either. Most of these are from either Virginia or Pennsylvania.
