Welcome to week #6 of Spring Festival 2022.
It was so hard to decide what blossom to share this week. The dogwoods are just starting to bloom, although the pink ones seem much further along. The apple blossoms too, are hit or miss, depending on their age and proximity to the sun. The bluebells continue to bloom, especially along the waterways. But what really delights my eye this time of year are the red buds.
This challenge will probably run for 10-12 weeks, with the last week being a wrap up. You can link up here or on any of the individual weeks. Be sure to tag your post Spring Festival 2022 so it is easy to find in the reader.
Spring is one of my favorite seasons. It is the season that showcases the vibrancy of pinks and purples, and of course, yellows. Click here to see how Spring has sprung in my neighborhood.

Ah, yes, the redbuds or Cercis canadensis, so beautiful. I have lots of blossom for you on Monday, much of it from alongside the River Thames.

Good morning, Dawn! (I bet you love that)…I see that I didn’t tell you how much I like your spring festival image this week! Our climate zones are so similar–as we have the same emerging bright green trees along the river with hints of blooms! Here is my Sunday Stills post that went live this morning: https://secondwindleisure.com/2022/05/01/sunday-stills-emerging-from/ Thanks for hosting–you may be in this for a while as spring is taking its sweet time to get into festival mode 😉

Since you are on the west coast I wouldn’t have thought they would be so similar but they do seem to be.

We are barely on the west coast as we live a ways inland and quite north. A wonderful place to lie with all four seasons.

Oh, and btw, I like Good Morning Dawn much better than “Dawn go away you’re no good for me”.
