Welcome to week # 7 of Spring Festival 2022.
Once again I was torn between posting Apple Blossoms or Dogwood. The Apple Blossom Festival in nearby Winchester Virginia is winding down so I used those images for the beginning of the week, here and here. The dogwoods, which by the way is Virginia’s state flower and tree, are out in full force now.
This challenge will probably run for 10-12 weeks, with the last week being a wrap up. You can link up here or on any of the individual weeks. Be sure to tag your post Spring Festival 2022 so it is easy to find in the reader.
Spring is one of my favorite seasons. It is the season that showcases the vibrancy of pinks and purples, and of course, yellows. Click here to see how Spring has sprung in my neighborhood.

dawn – cheers to the Dogwood and my only complaint is that it doesn’t look longer 😊💮💮💮

Dogwood flowers are lovely. I need to pop down to our local garden and see if the tree there is flowering yet. My post will appear on Monday with some proper English bluebells…

I Love your dogwoods, Dawn! We should be getting a dogwood tree very soon! The trees grow happily around here and their pink blossoms are amazing to see. Will add my link tomorrow! Thanks for hosting the spring festival!

My son and his wife planted dogwoods in their home after it was built. We usually get a picture every year with them and the tree out back. I was over there last night but it was raining to beat all. No picture. Off to work now. See ya tomorrow 😉

I ‘ve put my link in the “delicate dogwood”. I am not sure what is correct. Here it is again: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2022/05/08/spring-festival/
