I love autumn so I am hosting the 2022 Festival of Leaves Challenge. I will post every Thursday and I invite everyone to join in at any time through the week for any or all weeks.
This challenge usually runs about 10-12 weeks, with the last week being a wrap up. You can link up here or on any of the individual weeks. Be sure to tag your post Festival of Leaves so it is easy to find in the reader.

Still not a lot happening with leaves here, but this is a definite sign of autumn:

Gorgeous photo Dawn. My dogwood is starting to change, but it is ugly this year.
Here is my entry for this week.

Before last year I never paid attention to dogwoods in autumn and last year they were ugly here.

I have all these insane pictures of this year’s autumn. I have never seen the trees this bright. I can’t even properly focus the camera on them and there’s tons of “high luminance noise” that even when tamped down, is still too much for the lenses — and these are NOT fast lenses. Usually, I complain that they are not fast enough, but I’m not sure if any lense could hand these colors. So this is is today’s pictures and you can see that I gave up processing. Except for dealing with some of the noise, cropping a bit and size reduction, what you see is what there really is. I have never had to struggle with processing like this before. It also went to Cee’s FOTD post and we’ve only a week into autumn.

Eek, I forgot to like and comment on this post, Dawn. Gorgeous dogwood! Still waiting but some are turning yellow where we live. I have a baby dogwood that the deer found so we wrapped it up with wire. Hopefully, it will show some autumn color this week. I shared another one for Wordless Wednesday today: https://secondwindleisure.com/2022/10/12/wordlesswednesday-the-call-of-autumn-trails/
