Green is not typically a color you associate with autumn but look how wonderfully it actually brings out the other colors. It’s the perfect contrast.
I took hundreds of pictures this week so it was quite difficult choosing my Best of. I dropped many others in an album you can find here: A Lingering Look at Autumn.
The Day After 
Hard to find much green this fall! We went from summer to full autumn in a couple of days and from that to bare trees in ONE night. So there’s a bit of green here and there, but mostly, a lot of color.

With all the dark evergreens we have everywhere, the autumn colors snap against the dark green! This is a gorgeous picture, Dawn! Could be my neighborhood!
